Terms & Conditions

Enrolment

  • Enrolments are completed annually and secure a place in class from Term 1 – Term 3. (i.e., enrolments roll over between terms automatically).

  • An enrolment form MUST be completed for new and continuing students at the time of enrolment.

  • Students of Fun Time Performers will need to pay an enrolment fee ($50 per student) which includes administration and insurance cover.

  • Any changes to enrolments and contact details must be communicated via email.

  • Enrolments for all students roll over automatically between Terms 1, 2 and 3.

  • If a student is not returning for the next term, Fun Time Performers must be notified ASAP, or parents will be invoiced for the full term.

  • Fun Time Performers reserves the right to arrange medical transportation, at the student’s expense, in the event of an emergency.

Fees (applicable to all)

  • An annual enrolment fee of $50 per student applies to all students (new and continuing). This fee is due at the beginning of Term 1 and resets each calendar year.

  • Fees are based generally on NSW school terms; however, there could be slight differences.  All term dates will be communicated upon enrolment.

  • Fees are charged on a per term basis and any absences throughout the term still need to be paid for.

  • Fees must be paid in full unless a payment plan has been agreed upon in advance.

  • Term fees are due within 7 days of the commencement of each term, or within 14 days after the commencement of Term 1 for new students.

  • Term fees that remain unpaid after the due date will incur a $5.00 weekly late fee without notice. Additional $5.00 per week will be added to unpaid fees until paid.

  • Payment Plans can be arranged and must be requested in writing prior at the commencement of term.  Accounts must be paid in full by the end of each term.

  • Term invoices and statements are issued by email. Please ensure Fun Time Performers has a correct and regularly accessed email address for you, on file.

  • Term fees include the cost of costumes and accessories for our annual end of year concert.  Costumes remain the property of Fun Time Performers.

  • Fees are non-refundable.

  • Fun Time Performers offers the following payment methods:

    • Cash

    • Bank Transfer

    • EFTPOS

    • Visa and Mastercard. (if paying by Credit a surcharge will apply)

Communication

  • Email is the primary form of communication at Fun Time Performers.

  • Important information and updates are sent regularly via email and often via SMS to parents.

  • It is recommended you add daina@funtimeperformers.com.au to your email contacts.

  • Should you not be receiving emails from Fun Time Performers, your Junk/Spam email should be checked as email hosting providers will filter emails differently.

Classes

  • 2026 Classes are held on a Tuesday afternoon from 4.00pm-5.30pm NSW time.

  • During the 1.5hrs, the students participate in half an hour of drama, half an hour of dance and half an hour of singing, rotating to 3 different teachers.

  • Classes are held at the Salvation Army Centre, Woodlands Drive, Banora Point (in the same building as Springloaded).

  • Fun Time Performers will make every effort to ensure consistency of teachers; however, very occasionally classes may need to be taken by a substitute teacher.

  • Students are expected to arrive on time for class regularly.

  • Fun Time Performers reserves the right to amend or cancel classes whenever necessary.

  • All classes at Fun Time Performers are closed (only the teachers and students may be in the studio during classes). Parents are more than welcome to wait in the foyer area.  All rooms have glass doors, so parents can always see students.

  • Only water is permitted inside the studio. Food and other drink are only permitted in the foyer. Chewing gum is strictly prohibited in all areas.

  • Students are required to wear their full uniform and jazz shoes in every class. Hair must be tied back off the face.

  • Students are not to take mobile phones or other electronic devices into class.

  • Parents may attend class by invitation only.

Code of Conduct

Fun Time Performers is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where we develop each child’s potential in a fun, friendly environment.   To ensure a happy and positive experience for all involved, it is important that students, parents (including carers or legal guardians), extended friends and family members understand and comply with the below.

 

Student etiquette

  • Demonstrate respect for teachers, parents, staff, and other students at all times.

  • Arrive to class on time.

  • Present to class in a tidy and well-groomed manner with hair tied back neatly off the face.

  • Fun Time Performers uniforms and jazz shoes must be worn to class each week.

  • Bring a clearly named bottle of water to every class.

  • Attend classes regularly unless ill or injured, or in the event of a family emergency.

  • Commit to attending all rehearsals and performances during Term 3.

  • Set a good example to all students by using appropriate language and behaviour.

  • Show respect and care for all equipment and facilities.

  • Wait quietly in the foyer area before and after class. NO RUNNING

 

Parents (including carers or legal guardians) etiquette

  • Demonstrate respect and kindness for teachers, students, staff and other parents at all times.

  • Take responsibility to read email updates and keep up-to-date with current activities and important information.

  • Ensure siblings who are waiting in the foyer area are seated and supervised at all times.  Please no running in the foyer area.

  • Any questions or concerns can be raised with Daina in a respectful way.

  • Inappropriate, disrespectful, or aggressive behaviour by students, parents (including carers or legal guardians), extended friends and family, staff or volunteers will not be tolerated and may result in the cancellation of enrolment.

  • Song choice and material used is at the discretion of the director and no correspondence will be entered into. 

  • Students must be collected after class on time.
