About US
At Fun Time Performers, we believe every child deserves the chance to feel confident, creative and proud of who they are.
Established in 2000, Fun Time Performers has been providing drama, singing and dance classes to children across the Tweed for 26 years. Over that time, we have helped generations of young performers build confidence, develop creativity, make friendships and enjoy the magic of performing.
Our classes are designed to provide a fun, friendly and supportive environment where children feel encouraged to express themselves in their own unique way. Through drama, singing and dance, students develop performance skills, teamwork, imagination and self-esteem.
Fun Time Performers is about more than performing on stage. It is about helping children grow, connect and shine in a space where they feel safe, valued and supported.
Whether your child is full of confidence or just beginning to find their voice, we welcome them warmly into the Fun Time Performers family.

Our Program
Our program is designed to give students a fun, balanced, and engaging introduction to the performing arts.
Students attend a 1.5 hour class each week, participating in drama, singing, and dance. During the session, they rotate between three different teachers, allowing them to learn from specialists in each area while enjoying variety, movement, and creativity throughout the class.
Students are grouped according to their grade at school, helping ensure each class is age-appropriate, supportive, and suited to their stage of development.
Through our program, children build confidence, creativity, teamwork, communication skills, and self-esteem in a fun, friendly, and encouraging environment.

Drama
Classes begin with drama games, trust activities and group exercises that encourage students to work together, listen to one another and feel comfortable expressing themselves. As their confidence grows, students explore characters, storytelling, improvisation and stage skills.
Over time, these activities lead into group performances, giving students the opportunity to collaborate, rehearse and perform together while developing confidence, communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork.

Dance
Our dance classes focus on jazz dance, movement and fitness in a fun, energetic and supportive environment.
Students learn basic jazz technique, simple routines and performance skills while developing coordination, rhythm, flexibility and confidence.
Students work towards group routines and performances, helping them build stage confidence, teamwork and a love of movement.

Singing
Students learn basic vocal technique, breathing skills and stage presence, while exploring how to tell a story through song. Classes focus on helping students sing with confidence, expression and enjoyment, whether they are new to singing or already love performing.
As students progress, they work towards group songs and performances, developing their musical skills, confidence and ability to connect with an audience.
